How to get to Canisy?

By car

--From Paris take the A13 (Pont de St Cloud) or the A14 (Maillot-La Defense). We recommend the A14 to avoid traffic jams. The A14 joins the A13 (Poissy) after the Rocquencourt triangle.
--Follow the Autoroute 13 up to the entrance of Caen. The trip from Paris to Caen takes two hours (220 kilometers).
At the entrance of Caen, take the South belt line (peripherique Sud) direction Cherbourg, Rennes, Mont Saint Michel, etc...
--Then follow the signs A84 Rennes-Mont Saint Michel.
--Stay on the A84 (30 minutes) up to the exit (sortie) Saint Lo Number 40.
--Go towards Saint Lo (N174) for 21 kilometers.
--Take exit (sortie) number 5 Saint Lo, Percy, Canisy.
--At the roundabout take the D999 direction Canisy Villedieu.
--Go one kilometer on this road, down into the valley, then after the railroad tracks turn right in the direction Canisy (D38).
--Go four kilometers on the D38 (windy road).
--800 meters before the village of Canisy, at the bottom of a hill, you can see the first entrance of the park on your right.
The main entrance of the chateau is in the village:
--Turn right after the church onto the rue Kergorlay ... then after going 300 meters, turn right into the entrance of the chateau:
